I misplaced 4 packs of GHQ minis somewhere in the house, and looked everywhere for them. No luck. Sitting down near where I had last handled them, I looked around some more (things you lose are usually within 3 feet of where you last saw them.) The only thing different was a pile of newspapers put aside for recycling was gone. I thought "No, they couldn't be there." But, the nagging thought wouldn't go away, so I grabbed a flashlight & went out to my recycling bin down by the street (pickup is/was the next day.) Sure enough, there they were, under some papers. Fished them out, and took the bin back up to the house (just in case, though I know I found them all.) So, it turns out I had placed them on the pile of papers, where they got covered up. A really dumb mistake. I got lucky… ;-) |

I'm now using a flat box to temporarily 'store' projects I'm working on instead of placing them on any available flat space (e.g. a stack of newspapers. ;-) I couldn't find some 1/35 parts a while ago, but I've got a good guess as to what happened to those now… |

Aww, come on sarge, the boys were just looking for some R&R, spend a night on the town and blow off some steam. Party pooper. At least they are now safe at home…until the dice start rolling again. |
