I love the simplistic sculpts
They remind me of the Britain's toy soldiers of years past but i don't see my self buying them any time soon but how about you?
Do they appeal? Do you think their is a market for them?

Extremely tempting but I have waaayyyy too much unpainted lead already

I was all set to buy, but decided against the interwar period. I've done too many Spanish Civil War armies. I'd ranted 1880-1900, more Prisoner of Zenda.

nnascati, exactly. Service caps, flat-topped kepis, and pickelhaube; bolt-action rifles and revolvers; must include the horsed cavalry; and sabres for the officers…

Very tempting, however I decided not to order some when I saw that they were 30mm. Why can't they be 28mm so that they can work with the Copplestone figures that I already have? I would add more miniatures to my interwar period collection, but not in a new size.

Kevin C, they are a totally different very retro style.

Seems this is just the beginning

I've long been tempted to start a late 19th century imaginations project so I'd have had a hard time resisting these if they weren't inter war as it is I'm safe for now.

Time for a Tin Tin fantasy – without the overt xenophobia.

Nice link, Quatermass. I do like the Serbians, but I am much more interested in the "Revolution in Ruritania" range mentioned in the link. I think I'll have to pass on this release.

MacColla23 Aug 2022 10:19 a.m. PST

At 20mm I would have been interested in these; but not 30mm.

Grelber23 Aug 2022 10:29 a.m. PST

There are a few figures that look like they might fit in with my other armies, if the 28m to 30mm size difference doesn't work out to be too great.

It does not bother me at all that these are in 30mm. Will go with my collection of SAE figures. They are intended to be different from current 28mm as a toy soldier scale.

I would love to buy them if I did not already have 50,000 painted figures that I do not get to play with, and another 10,000 unpainted. If I were not retired on a fixed, low income. If there were not so many to choose from. I could sell some of my current children (the 50k) but which ones?

What to do with the new ones? I might get a few because they are so damm cool.

Wave 2!

I love this style and to be honest had never thought about doing the interwar period. Now I am seriously considering it. I've always dreamt of 48-figure Spencer-Smith regiments, but now plan to do that via 3-D printing (nor Spencer-Smith, obviously). I think I'm going to enlist the help of my extended family and put just one thing on my birthday and xmas list: this new range of figures.

longspear10 Nov 2022 10:02 a.m. PST

I really love this range and think it is inspired. I hope people keep buying them so he expands it. Love the Marx mini!

3rd wave out and a 4th wave in the works

Aren't these even bigger than 30mm?

Mike Welker Supporting Member of TMP20 Nov 2022 4:09 p.m. PST

Ah I see yes 30mm. There was another range featured somewhere I thought was these.
