I think Fathom refers to the 1990s-2000s comic books, not the 1967 movie. Good job on the miniature. |

What I cant fathom out is why anyone would buy it. The very same reason that paintings of bible scenes with nudes sold so well already in the late medieval times. Showing attractive females and claiming its art. |

At almost 2' tall, it would be in rare company within my collection. That said, it would make a good plot mechanism for a number of fantasy milieu. While I haven't read the comic referenced in the article on the figure, she appears to be summoning/controlling the water, and her expression has a goddess-like mix of mildly annoyed yet above it all. |
