Just got these from Michigan Toy Soldier. Great stuff! Five torso poses and tons of optional arms and heads. Full photo review here link

Thanks Anton for the review. Do you have any size comparisons with other ranges, like Perry colonial British infantry?

Anton Ryzbak11 Aug 2022 11:33 a.m. PST

I'm leaving town tonight but I will try to gather some comparisons when I return. Just looking at the minis I would think that they would blend well with Perrys and Old Glory.

They do look like nice figures! I will have to think about buying some to go with my Copplestone Back of Beyond figures.
Only one shield per sprue? I would really like a bunch of woven wicker shields for my lizardmen (also from Wargames Atlantic) but I think metal shields would create balance problems.

@gregmita2
Wargames Atlantic Afghans scale up to Perry's Afghans excellently, so I'd say they should work out.

I'm intending on eventually getting my own box of Boxers when I (eventually) begin my First Opium project, though I wish the set came with matchlocks too.

+1 to FilsduPoitou; the Wargames Atlantic Afghans pair quite well with the Perry plastic Afghans; I think you could even interchange parts.

Thanks for the information guys. This set looks really good.

I have interchanged parts between WA and Perry Afghans. Works well :)
