"News about Fall In?" Topic

Is anyone hearing anything? The HMGS web site has nothing after the announcement that it would be at the "Wyndham Lancaster" (formerly the Host) 4-6 November. Last time I called the Host, the room block wasn't open--but would be "well before" the convention. This time, they're not even picking up the phone.

Hard to explain to the kids why my fall visit has to be geared around the convention when neither the organizing body nor the convention center take much interest.

Vendor registration opened the week of Historicon. I think the room block was opened a while ago. I know I have a room at a neighboring hotel.

Fall In!® 2022 Game Host Registration

Good Morning All,

My name is Cliff Brunken and I am the Events Manager for Fall-In!® 2022.

This year's convention will take place November 4-6, 2022 at the recently renovated Lancaster Wyndham Resort and Convention Center (formerly known as The Lancaster Host Resort), in Lancaster PA.

Game Host registration is now open. Key dates for Game Hosts include:

7/8/2022 Event (Game Host) Submission Open 9/5/2022 Deadline to have a game listed in Preliminary Event List (PEL)
(which is required for free Game Host admission*) 9/23/2022 PEL Published 9/26/2022 Attendee Registration Opens

This year's Theme is Vehicles of War: Trains, Tracks and Trucks.

When you click on "Event Submission" on this page – hmgs.org/page/FallInGM_Info – be prepared with the following information:

Game Master Name: Game Title: Scale: Rules: Period: Number of Players: Length of Game: Start time for game: 2nd choice for start time: Table Size: Theme Game?: Club Game?: Description of game (less than 500 letters and spaces): Any special requirements?:

* Note: For Fall-In! 2022, HMGS Member Game Hosts will need a total of 16 "Gaming Hours" to receive a free Convention admission badge.
Gaming Hours = Game Length times the number of Players
(e.g., a 4 hour game with 4 players = 16 Gaming Hours.  If you run multiple games, or the same game multiple times, the Gaming Hours are added together to meet the requirement.)
