"Two brigades of Ukrainian marines are already using fifty vehicles. We are awaiting 150 more!

A machine gun that can be controlled manually and rotated 360 degrees, a fire extinguishing system, good anti-mine protection of the vehicle, B6 class armour, 12 soldiers + crew."

Does anyone make the Kirpi APC in miniature?

Turkey is a NATO member. They have the 2d largest military behind the USA. IMO it is great that they are sending these APCs to the Ukraine. As other NATO nations have sent weapons and assistance. The Kirpi en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMC_Kirpi reminds me of the USA 4 & 6 wheeled MRAPs or MaxxPros. We left a number of those type AFVs in A'stan.

The Ukraine is using Turkish drones too, IIRC.

It appears the Turks are playing both sides against the middle as they have been supporting the Russians as well.

Yes, as I said $ talks … even if you are a NATO member, at least for some.

Not to mention the fact that Erdogan is not what you'd call 'pro west'.

The less secular he is pushing Turkey … the less of a good NATO member they become it seems. After all most of the rest of NATO are infidels. So AFAIK he really does not have to honor, etc. any promises he made with infidels ?

Turkey is a fairly secular state. Turks are not Arabs anymore then they are Iranians. Erdogan personnel faith I suspect it is only for the camera like so many Americans. But we can always talk about the Kurds.

Erdogan has converted most public schools into islamic schools, including for girls. Those that have not been converted have become selective schools due to demand. If a family can't afford a private school, their children will go to an islamic school.

Before Erdogan, islamic colleges were only allowed for training male clerics and their degrees were not recognised for anything else. Erdogan started at one of these colleges but transferred to a real university to get a degree.

Yes that is well known … plus the Turks are Sunni and the Iranians Shia. Just to clarify …

Erdogan has converted most public schools into islamic schools, including for girls. Those that have not been converted have become selective schools due to demand. If a family can't afford a private school, their children will go to an islamic school.

Is the way I understood it. He made Turkey less secular and more islamic.

Turkey is a fairly secular state.
Well yes compared to A'stan, Pakistan, KSA, to name a few …
