I really enjoy the old Tactical rules (pre-Blitz). Have you given those a try? |

Tactical rules those were on hexmap? While many it was for sure more detailed, i really like Blitz gameplay in other words it achieved what Battletech AlphaStrike wont ( which is shame) |

Yep with the hex map, although the 2nd Edition had rules for tabletop play as well (I do both, but prefer hexes if I'm being honest). What do you find lacking about Alpha Strike? I havent played that since it first came out. |

Achtung Minen: I played a quite a lot Alpha Strike with my kids, Alpha Strike is good game but somewhat crunchy. Formation rules little enhanced as well as handful of optional rules but otherwise its lacking spirit, i think its wasted oppurtunity |
