"First Saturday Gaming In St. Louis, MO" Topic

On a way too hot day to be outside the Big Muddy Historical Gaming Alliance held it's First Saturday Gaming Event in the spacious game room of Miniature Market Retail Superstore in St. Louis, MO. With 30+ players and GMs involved in the five games presented the dice were rolling and figures were moving across the tables.
It was a fun day featuring

Airborne! – The Red Devils of 9th Para Battalion assault a vital installation early on D-Day, 6 June 1944. Battlegroup rules, 15mm figs, for 3-4 players,

Armored Fury – Fight an action inspired by the film Fury. TRACTICS WW2 rules, 1/200th scale minis, for 2 or more players

Action at Bristoe Station – October 1863, CSA Gen. A.P. Hill presses forward his attack, then discovers a lurking Federal rearguard. Muskets & Tomahawks ACW, 15mm figs, for 2-4 players

Red Alert! – Miniatures Space Fleet combat using the Commands & Colors card-driven system, for 2-6 players,

Raid! A Medieval skirmish game using plastic toy figures and the Penny Knights rule system.

Major Pappy Boyington and his daring boys of VMA-214 patrol above the Slot – who will they encounter – the Iceman?, Hirachi?, a gaggle of novice Japanese pilots? Join the air action inspired by the 1970s Black Sheep Squadron TV show.

Ost Front '43 – Bridgehead.
WWII old skool armor gaming on the Eastern Front at the Battalion-level of command.
