I am helping a friend teach the local group to play Napoleon's Battles. He tried doing Battle of Coruna but that was too unbalanced. So I am looking for a small battle between British and French that is pretty even that he can do. Suggestions welcome. Thanks |

PM me and I'll send some NB scenarios. If you have access to old copies of the Courier, there is a small NB scenario for the Peninsula, Villa Costa. 2 small French Corps vs 5 Divisions of Brit and Portuguese |

Depending on how small he wants to go, Sahagun is pretty good. The Brits are outnumbered, but the French are green recruits. And, in the actual battle, poorly led. |

You don't need to do a real battle. Give each side a couple of infantry brigades, a cavalry brigade, and some artillery and have a meeting engagement. |
