I understand this flick went through the meat grinder that was trying to figure out how to market this in the throes of Covid, but it's now 2 years.

Still no DVD availability?

What the freaky freak?

I believe that Apple TV has the sole rights to Greyhound for 15 years.

The DVD will be extinct by then.

Lucius02 Aug 2022 6:21 p.m. PST

They will also have ownership of the Greyhound sequel, as well as the "Masters of the Air" series. Better get a free Apple TV membership. My phone came with one . . .

I was waiting for the DVD, too, then figured Apple wasn't going to release it while they were still growing the service and subscribers.

I currently have an AppleTV+ trial, so I was able to watch it.

It's okay.

Yar, if ya willin' to take orders from a pirate …

Might be they can be found on eBay. Might be.

Ivf no compunction 'gainst bouyin a poirated 'dition in princ'pal, but O'im leery 'bout the pitcher qual'ty.

Iffin Apple is so determined to strong-arm me into paying them to stream all over the top of my head that they'll Bogart the movie indefinitely, them bloiters can bloody well keep it.

Hanks was too old for the role anyways.

Blows loud raspberry.

rustymusket03 Aug 2022 11:07 a.m. PST

I am waiting for the DVD, also. Apple is not nice.

Treat yourselves. It's way unrelated, but…

Everything, Everywhere, all at Once.

It's one of the most dazzling thrill rides EVER.

DON'T CHEAT! Don't look up the cast until after you watch it. One you'll recognize at once. One you won't.

Wargamer Blue03 Aug 2022 4:51 p.m. PST

It's the way of the world now. A lot of good shows are being made and streamed exclusively.

tbh I wasn't impressed with the film.
If you're willing to stump up £10.00 GBP/12 for the dvd why not just do £7.00 GBP for AppleTV+ for a month and at least get to watch some of their other content.

Bridget

My personal experiences with joining anything online have been pretty universally bad. (Boomer here)

My personal experiences with canceling anything online have been quite like getting grass stains out of khaki pants.

A streamed movie can only be viewed on my 10.5" tablet. DVD can be viewed on my 25" TV. I know I can buy a gizmo to stream to the TV but thats more £/$ and aggravation.

Boomers be set in their ways.

Well, it was kind of cool to look at and Hanks is always good. But it's not worth owning, I think. Stick with DasBoot
