I saw there was a demo game of "Clash of Katanas" at Historicon. Looked quite interesting. Figured I'd look at buying a set of the rules. I cannot find them for sale anywhere!!!!!!!! Am I missing something? |

Looks like it was a KS that ended in March. Looked like they closed the late pledge thing too. It hasn't fulfilled though it looks like PDFs of the rules went out end of June. link There is the link so you can poke around… |

Clash of Katanas is currently at the end phase of their kickstarter. Shipping is expected August or possibly September. I suspect that you will be able to order from Fighting Hedgehog Games in September or October. |

Thanks for these answers. From reading at the link; it says to play Clash of Katanas I will need the Clash of Spears rules. Does this mean Clash of Katanas is a supplement covering the Samurai/Imjin War period? |

Hi,
so yes we closed KS first half of the year, planning ot deliver Aug-Sep. Boat took a bit longer so we are starting delivery now… Backers got the pdf early after the campaign closed. After we finish delivery of the KS it will be up for sale through regular retail channels or through Fighting Hedgehog directly.. You are correct that you need CLASH of Spears as CLASH of Katanas is an expansion. It covers late Sengoku Japan, 9 major clans, plus Ikko Ikki, Iga, Wako/Bandits and yes also Koreans and Chinese for Imjin War.
Spears is available in print and also in pdf through wargame vault. We had a lot of fun running our games of Katanas at Historicon, the crowd there is always awesome, then we did demos in Naschon, now in Nov it will be at MillenniumCon cheers
