Have you not seen "Mars Attacks"?

More annoyance than fear, I suspect. |

I remember the Mars Attacks trading cards from 1962 which were considered somewhat too unpleasant for the 8 and 9 year olds who were the main collectors at the time :-) Never saw the film |

Do Martians taste like chicken? I suppose we'll soon find out… Although I'm changing the name of the ship to the CSS Indigestible… Nice ear worm of a game, Jim. Thanks for sharing it. Reminds me of the time we played French and Indian and Aliens at the Gettysburg Area Gamers, oh, maybe ten years ago. A 1950's style flying saucer crashed at the Mary Jemison farm during the raid. Things went on from there. Now, I've got to figure out where the heck that saucer is stored. Eric |

Mars Attacks is a fun ride. It's not, shall we say, high-concept or art house. The 420 matinee is probably the best show to catch. To the original post: I suppose the rebels will blame the damn Yankees for this metal contraption throwing fire all around. |

I must admit, if I was being devious, I would just tell people I was trying out a new set of ACW rules, and let them work it out for themselves :-) |

Changing the names of the ships strikes me as something that just kept happening at the time :-) Of course you could have people arrive at the cylinder before it opened, but to discover a scrap metal dealer hitching a large ox team to it ready to drag it away :-) |

Do Martians fear the Rebel Yell? Certainly. It means John Carter is coming for them. I never believed those fellows with the tripods were really from Mars. Probably just a staging area |

I wondered if they finally fled Mars to get away from John Carter and others :-) |
