It's day one of Historicon, and I managed to snarf up a seat at an Martian Front game, old rules.

The Southern Front has gone to hot war. Despite numerous warnings, some of the civilian population refused to accept the Martian was coming, until it was too late. Other late departures commandeered what vehicles they could, and raced to the relative safety of the Red River, whose single bridge was defended by valiant Texans.

Good to see AQMF getting a run out. A great storied setting and great figures. I had a blast recently gaming the original 1890s invasion (using the AQMF Martians and a British colonial army). Feeling inspired to resume the offensive soon…
