Thoughts on how much of this plastic 28mm room builder you actually need and painting it up.

Or how much you need to spend? That must £1,000.00 GBP worth of dungeon!
Or how long would it take to scratch build it?
Possibly the biggest plus would be it looks to be storable flat.

Okay had a closer look
That's about £286.00 GBP and it looks to be a 3x3 table
That's 5 starter sets at £48.00 GBP each plus 2 room sets at £23.00 GBP each.
Not cheap but not out of bounds you could peck away over time and before you know it you could end up with an impressive dungeon.

Full retail it is insane to buy up. From eBay cores go at about £30.00 GBP and rooms £20.00 GBP Cores are twice the size of starter sets. I bought a little in the last (D&L3 aka Woodhaven)Gamefound do but the full all-in pledge was a shed load of stuff.

Okay that's more like it!
If I where you and judging by the above example to fill a 3x3 tale I'd want 4 core boxes minimum at £120.00 GBP that's very reasonable IMO.
After that for the room sets I'd want 2 sets of each room to be quest rooms but it would be unnecessary.
As for painting I'd follow the links advice however I'd make the floor's significantly lighter for contrast.
Nice project you will have a nice table and save you're self many man hours scratch building.

Take a look at the kickstarter to see layout and what you can get. $500 USD was for the kingdom pledge and it was a massive build plus all the extras. Great deal and a great product
