BTW – The US Army still used the KATUSAs when I was in the ROK, 22 months, '84-'85. With a forward deployed Mech Bn(M113s) with the 2ID. I had two in my Section, SGT Pak & CPL Ha. Good soldiers … I don't know if the US Army still uses KATUSAs ? But they were generally a good addition to the Army units, IMO.

In the town, next to mine, there is a beautiful Korean War monument. It's a life size unit of about 6 men of a US Army Infantry Squad/Fire Team, moving on a patrol. There needs to be more of these memorials/monuments, IMO. All over the USA. It really is in some ways The Forgotten War.

No "wokers"🤡/CRT cultists, etc., have tried to topple the statures of that memorial … yet … As with most Americans many know little to nothing of our history. Especially our wars.
