Long ago, now lost, I had a gamer magazine that had an article and rules for the Peking legations in it. It had pictures of the table layout and rules for the game. Anyone remember it and know where I can get a copy?

Wargames Illustrated #27 perhaps? "55 minutes at Peking"??

I know this is from 2012, so, not too old I guess….but, if you google "a boxer summer" youwillfind an article on developing a boxer game with pics of all the legations etc…

Dave, could you provide a link to "a boxer summer"? All I find when I search is dogs and underwear. Thanks

You had to search for the entire string including the quotation marks to get this: link

Miniature Wargames #30 had the original Staines War-game Club article. The Wargames Illustrated #27 article is an up date of the earlier one. More involved rules and 50% larger area. I have done this game many times, lots of fun. Nice map of the legations. Sort of old school. The WI #301 article is much more modern but still useful.
