Is there a particular flag color associated with the Beja (Hadendowa) tribes?

Perhaps the site of Patrick Wilson (The Virtual Armchair General) will help ?

+1 Porthos, check Patrick's TVAG site for his great Sudan flags. There are actual historical flags as well as some deduced flags based on historical evidence. I've purchased all his Sudan flag sheets and can highly recommended them.
Cheers,

For my early war (Suakin expeditions) I'm using Adrian's Walls' flags:

Not specifically Beja but a good overall summary.

The TVAG flags are based on those flags in the old S&S article by Doug Johnson you linked.

Found this painting done by an eye witness. It shows a Beja standard just to the left of centre.
