I am looking for a 15mm USS Choctaw model suitable for tabletop gaming. Specifically to be used for a convention game of the land battle at Milliken's Bend, LA, where the Choctaw lurked in the Mississippi River and rained shells on the attacking Rebels--firing blindly over two levees. Any suggestions welcome. |

There is a 1/200 paper model available – might be ok with 15mm if you consider the ship at a distance to the figures… link or instructions on making one… link |

I have a resin Ironclad that is similar in look and probably a 10mm scale I would part with? PM me or mark@scalecreep.com |

You could always print the 1:200 Wargames Vault model at 200% through Office Depot or Kinkos and go from there. Jim |

Most of the games I've seen using land and naval forces together in ACW games use significantly different scales. I saw a 10mm Vicksburg that used 1/600 scale ships. It sounds weird, but the brain employs a sort of forced perspective, and it actually looks right. |

I did the math and at 15mm (1:100) the Choctaw would be 31" long? |
