"Black Cat Bases and failures in communication" Topic

I placed an order with Black Cat Bases back in April of this year despite concerns about their website being a couple years out of date (there is mention of a slow down in production and delivery from 2019). I placed the order in large part because members here indicated that they were receiving orders during the pandemic, and even up until Easter of this year. I'm okay with slow deliveries and delays. I know these businesses are often cottage, and life gets in the way. What bothers me is I have reached out to the company through e-mail several times now asking for some level of update, but with no response whatsoever. Do you all know if this is normal, or should I be preparing to have my money refunded through Paypal for non-delivery and non-communication?

Or I suppose, would someone in the UK be willing to ring up Jo (their number is on their website, blackcatbases.com/) and see if they are still alive and well?

Black Cat Bases, like Black Tree Designs is one of those places that I always want to order from but then I hear enough horror stories to keep me from pulling that trigger. Sorry compadre. I hope you get an answer, your order, or your money back.
