Just a reminder that NASHCON will be held in Nashville, TN, August 19-21. This is primarily a historical convention, but also has a decent amount of fantasy.

NOTE TO VENDORS: I'm in the market for 28mm Old West buildings (hint, hint).

I've always been amazed at how well this convention is done, via TMP. I haven't been able to attend yet, and won't this year, but am hoping to make it next year.

It's a really nice show. I go almost every year (except our covid years when it cancelled).

Just confirmed that I will be hosting The Battle of Five Armies (Warmaster variant) on Friday evening!
If you'll be there, you're welcome to join the struggle, either for goblinkind or the Free People of the West.

It appears they have opened up a block of rooms, I managed to get a room today following the link to the hotel from the Nashcon 2022 website for Friday thru Sunday.

As a New Englander I have never been to Nash Com but this year find myself in Oak Ridge TN on business for most of August.
So I booked a room at the convention hotel that weekend and hope to attend!
I already called Mississippi and Alabama friends to see who else is going….

Hope to see you all!

@masm6110 -

We have a group of seasoned wargamers that week on most Wednesdays and every other weekend not too far from Oak Ridge (wifes a teacher out there).

If you're interested in getting any gaming in outside the Con drop us a line.

Madcam.

Madcam,

I'm retiring to East TN in a few months and will be looking for wargaming contacts. Please drop me a message by email, so I can arrange to meet up with your group in the future. Thank you.

How many gamers generally come to these?

Hello Madcam,
thanks for the offer to game. Can;t say I'm around during the week and do travel home when I can. But I'm making sure to be free for NashCOn … I'll see if I can find you at the show to say Hello!

Thanks
-Mike
