"Wargaming in Madrid" Topic

We are looking at moving to Madrid from the US next year and are curious about wargaming groups and stores in the area.

Any information would be helpful.

Maybe drop Dermot Quigley a line up at Campaign Game Miniatures in Barcelona for some local connections?

According the member finder on here, there are over 100 members in Madrid. Certainly last time I was there, I found 2 good shops for Wargaming products.

Most big cities over here have wargaming groups.

There is a Spanish forum for wargaming with some people from Madrid in which you would have a lot of help if you introduce yourself there and ask: laarmada.net

Depending what are your interests here a few shops:

La Flecha Negra C/Hermosilla,147 the website isn't helping much so no complete catalogue but they're pretty active on the Facebook front They got a broad selection of Historical and Fantasy/ SF miniatures from 15mm , 1/72 to 28mm

Librería Atlántica C/Luna, 6 check their web: atlanticajuegos.com/es Lot of stuff (Huge plastic stock in 28mm Victrix , Perry, Warlord etc)

Goblin trader goblintrader.es/gb
There's two shops (north: C/ Marqués de Lema 7, 28003 Madrid ) (Goblin trader South:C/ Enrique Fuentes 16. 28026 Madrid)
Mainly Fantasy / SF but a smaller selection of Warlord historical stuff and Flames of war and a few Perry Boxes. You can book a table and play.

Metropolis Center C/Andrés Mellado 22, 28015 Madrid . Only fantasy / SF GW/ Infinity / Marvel / Star War legion but also really interesting for their modelling section ( Green Stuff greenstuffworld.com/en retailers) You can book a table and play.

Models Hobby shops: Bazar Matey C/ Santisima. Trinidad, 1 Madrid matey.com
Model train & huge source for plastic kits 1/72, 1/48 1/35 nice thing for scenery too.

Hobby's Vicente: Calle de Andres Mellado, 25 lot of plastic kits and good source for 1/72 plastic minis (Zvezda, Hat, Caesar Strelets etc)
