Hessian? The Americans used to name Hessian everything German in United States 1776-1783 as well as any french rifle despite coming from Saint Etienne or Maubeuge is a Charleville

actually she is Brunswicker one of 6 German States sending troops to North America

from Don Troiani's female Brunswicker camp follower in Saratoga 1777
