Hello everyone, Please, I am looking for a rule specifically for the 1879 zulu war but dating from before 1976, do you know where to find it? Thanks. Paskal |

I believe that" The Sword and the Flame" rules written by Larry Brim was first published in 1978…those are my favorite rules for gaming Zulus. |

You might be thinking of 'The Colonial Wars' by T J Halsall (Newbury) which features a Zulu and a British soldier on the front cover, or 'The 1879 Zulu War' by Richard Tory. |

Don Featherstone published a number of mimeographed rule sets in the late 1960s available through Wargamers Newsletter. The Colonial version had on the cover a scene showing Stanley Baker from Zulu. I found an on line version link |

Thank you all, I'm looking for a rules published before 1976, not after 1975 and for "25mm" miniatures. Please check the years of edition, |

The original Sword and Flame was published by Yaquinto in 1977. It has an odd very deterministic casualty table rather than rolling a dice per figure |

Thank you but, I'm looking for a rules published before 1976, not after 1975 and for "25mm" miniatures. Strange that there is nothing before 1976 for this conflict which has always interested British wargamers so much. |
