On another site, I read a comment by someone that a new rules system must be bad because, and I quote, "There are no demos or play tests on YouTube or anywhere, it must be dreadful". Leaving aside the assumptions made in this, do people consider that if they can't find a video demonstration and/or review of a game on the internet, it indicates that the game is somehow lacking? Obviously, it might mean it's not played by numerous players, but is that a definite indicator of poor quality? I'd be interested to hear the group's opinions. |

I usually search for reviews and opinions on TMP. I don't go out of my way to look for a video review, if I come across one then I will watch it. If there isn't one, it makes no difference in my decision to purchase or not to purchase the rules and trying them out. |

A lot of the rules I play don't have video reviews or demos of play. And yet, I still like them. Dang kids these days, expect the world at their fingertips! and Git off mah Lawn! A lack of reviews just means no one has bothered to make one. Which could be due to a lack of wide spread interest (or lack of wide spread advertising to generate interest), or so much interest that everyone assumes everyone else already knows how to play. |

It's a changing world. Almost everything is on YouTube or somewhere else on the Net. |
