I am doing a Sci Fi RPG game, and I want to be really original <s> and do Space Elves, Orcs and Ogres. I do not want to use GW figures because there are so many great non GW scale figures out there now a days. I was thinking of using 15mm figures, because I can find variations in scale for everything, but I think visually 28mm figures work better. If anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate any help. I probably will just bite the bullet for Ogres and use GW Ogryns, and I am totally using GW Ratlings for Space Hobbits. |

You could try the Goloth and Hudad/Imperials from CP Miniatures: link They could be Orks/Elves :) . |

Wargames Atlantic have space dwarves, and if those do no work, Mantic…..Hence why I left them off the need to find figures list!!!!

So….After Hem Hawing….I will be going with mainly GW figures. I thought about putting elf heads on Eisenkern Stormtroopers, but I can use those guys for humans of some type. What tipped me is how nice the new Leagues of Votann guys look. There are a huge variety of humans I can use…I was hopeful about the new Kasrkin, but it looks GW are being  es and changing the scale of their lines, so newer figures do not match with older ones. Thanks for the responses! I def got some guys to think about as alternatives. |
