Friday Night Bolt Action at Dragon's Lair San Antonio Texas:

Southern Italy 1943 – the Italians have turned on their German allies and attempt to push them out of Italy. Charlie and first-time player Tyler Halcomb teamed up to command the Italians vs Rob Gravener and his Germans. Both sides moved onto the board with the goal of capturing two of the three objectives in the middle of the table.

Tyler took the left flank and focused on capturing that objective while I took the center and right hoping to take at least one of these. Tyler played well for his first game and quickly picked up the mechanics of Bolt Action.

Casualties mounted as the Germans lost vehicles while the Italians lost infantrymen. Both sides lost an equal amount of unit dice, but the Germans were able to hold two of the three objectives at the end of turn 5 when the game was called.

Another fun game and Tyler plans to start painting his dad's starter box – looks like the Texas Bolt community just added two new players!!!
