Subject is the question. I noticed the Carthage dice say carthage/sassanid. Are they a optional faction off the carthagens?
If so that is cool and I will probably buy the book.

Thanks

Joe

The Sassanids are in the Age of Invasions book along with Late Romans, Romano-British, Franks, Goths, Early Saxons, Huns, and Picts. They do use the same dice as the Carthaginians.

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately I have the aetius and Arthur version of that book which is why I wouldn't know that. : (
Is the conversion to sassanids straightforward or would I miss something?
Does the republic Roman board play different than the late Roman board?
Have no interest in collecting Carthage or Greece. Seeing if the book would be worth $45 USD to me.
Thanks for your help.

Age of invasions has Sassanids. It also has a cool mini campaign revolving around a frontier fortress.

I haven't tried it (or even Saga itself yet), but want to.

Thanks again. I have version 1 of that book aetuis and Arthur. It is a good book and SAGA is a fun game but I won't pay $50 USD just to add 1 faction even if it is a faction I really want to game. Rats. You really should try the game, it is quite fun.
Thanks for the info.

Joe
