Hello everyone,
Please, I am looking for a rule specifically for the WSS but dating from before 1976, you don't know and you know where to find it? .Thanks.

Arthur Taylor, "Rules for Wargaming" Shire Publications 1971
ISBN 0 5263127 8
Specific rules for:
English Civil War
Marlborough's Wars
Napoleonic Warfare
American Civil War
Mechanised Warfare
Eighteenth Century Warfare
Modern Naval Warfare
Air Warfare 1914-1918

Interesting rules in that they largely do without a chance factor.

Thank you, it's not for collecting, but I find that the game systems before 1976 are more interesting because they are more outdated, etc… If you know of any others, please indicate it

Sorry, I really don't know what you want. On-line links? These old publications are very likely not to be on-line. I've given you the information you need to get a hard copy, if you're interested.

I would suggest "Beneath the Lily Banners" by Barry Hilton. The second edition is my favorite but has now been "updated" by "War of the Three Kings" and a supplement on the Great Northern/Eastern wars called "Talon and Claw." They are written specifically for this era and contain a host of inspiring photos and uniform info, especially the last two.

Rules from the 70s tended to by much less specific. For WSS I would looked out for "Wargamers Research Group- Horse and Musket Rules"
