I played a solo game of Stars & Lasers over the last couple of evenings, this time I decided to pit a huge Leviathan against lots of smaller Alien ships. Could it make it to safety? or would the Aliens destroy the big ship first? I have put up a battle report on my site, pop over and find out. link

Can you design your own ships for this game yet? Or does it at least have stats for say, Star Wars, Babylon 5 and Star Trek ships? Just curious…I'm interested, but have ships from all these shows that I want to use. |

@Frederick thanks, lol yeah they won't attack a Leviathan again in a hurry!! @Raptoruk369 thanks, glad you liked it. @Moonbeast Hi, no you still can't design your own ships all you can do is add a turreted weapon or two on the bigger ships, and armour etc. but across all the expansions and scenario packs there is around 130+ ships, and of course the rules are not ships range specific so you can use any ships with the rules… but I have been looking at two possible add-on's to the rules and they are Star Trek ( as I have some ships ) and Babylon 5 as a friend asked a while back. @Covert Walrus Thanks although "Fascinating AAR" is a new one! normally it's silly or strange! 😉
The Kra'Vak ships are lovely and I think they are great as basic alien ships, I have three or four other weird alien fleets, but the Kra'Vak are one of my favourites and fitted with the game I wanted to play. Mac |

Sorry, Mac. Went to download the Solo file, got a 'you already did, moron,' reading between the lines of the Microsoft message. So full of themselves… *blush* Apparently, in the flurry of downloading scenarios, scooped up up as well. I just wish this was my first 'sorry for being so dense' comment of the day. @TheBeast no problem I am always getting things mixed up or simply wrong! The Solo add-on is just a selection of "bits" that you can add to help run your games solo, you can add as many as you want depending on how you want to play. With the above game I just added the "the enemy force will always activate its closest ship to your force" rule. And I set the enemy as "Aggressive" If I am not in a hurry and I have planned for a long game I will add a lot more of the random stuff to make things a little more interesting! But as I said it's all down to how you want to play. Mac |
