Paul Kuykendall from the Lone Star Historical Miniatures (LSHM) club of Texas is building his 28mm British Península campaign army. Here is his newest addition.

picture

The 1st/9th British Line battalion circa 1808 Roliça is finally finished with colors and basing. When the entire army is done, I am planning on putting tufts on the bases and some static grass, but I want all that to be consistent across the entire army.

It took a few extra days to find time for the basing due to work, but I'm super pleased with my 8 day painting project.

Very nice. What rules are these based for?

I'm pretty sure Paul is using Black Powder.

It is nice to see large battalions in close order formation. They look impressive in line. Nicely done!
