Stumbled upon a free fan-based set of rules, seems to have continued Warhammer Fantasy Battles somewhat.

Does anyone know it or play it?

I thought Kings of War had the Warhammer continuum figured out, but maybe there's more.

A friend of mine that I used to play WFB/WAB with really likes it, but I haven't yet tried it with him.

I have played two games some years ago, and it seems to include all the stuff that old Warhammer Fantasy was and should be – at least for my Empire army. The difference to 8th age and before was minor, but as all the WHFB-players have moved away even before the Abomination of the AoS happened, we moved on – though not because the rules are bad.
