I know, people are different sizes…

I am buying a second-hand army of an Elite Miniatures Spanish Napoleonics army. It is my understanding that Elite is on the large end (I have seen them referred to as 30s). Who makes Napoleonics are the larger end of the spectrum? Brigade figures look like they are large. How about Old Glory? These other figures will be mainly for Spanish opponents, so they will be on the same table but not in the same units. I can tolerate "normal" variances between manufacturers but, if Elite are large figures, I don't want a David and Goliath look to the game.

Thanks.

I used to have some Russian Elite figures and I used Front Rank and Eagle figures alongside. I think they were the old Eagle range, so not sure if the newer ones are same size, but no doubt you could get a sample.

I have found that Elite figures pair well in size and sculpting style with Sash and Saber or Old Glory casting.

I have Elite Min Spanish on the same bases as Front Rank. They match up OK scale wise.

Thanks, guys.

I was always put off by their castings as being too slender and gazing upwards, which might be fine if they were looking for Stukas or Typhoons. But, this week, I have seen them in a TMP member's collection (Grafthomond) and they look just fine next to Perry or Front Rank (maybe not Foundry). They are much better than I expected, but Front Rank figures need to work out more, whilst Elite have an eating disorder by comparison.
