As I appear to have finished my Royalist Army, here it is in all its glory link

Yes, I know 'finished' is never really finished…

AnselmFranz02 Jun 2022 9:15 p.m. PST

Just wow

OK. But you have no camp followers. And you say "finished".
Seriously, that is very impressive and you have a Parliamentary Army also. You are ready for the Jubilee!

Most impressive – thanks for sharing!

KeepYourPowderDry03 Jun 2022 4:37 a.m. PST

Thanks all. Camp followers you say? Got a box full of civilians and camp followers

cavcrazy03 Jun 2022 5:30 a.m. PST

Beyond impressive. That is a beautiful army. That is truly a labor of love.

Timbo W03 Jun 2022 9:23 a.m. PST

Wow, it's taken me 40 years and I'm still a couple of brigades away from the 'finished' the Royalists stage.

Wow, bigger than mine. Well done.

I am abashed. All 4 of my ECW armies don't match your 2. Great shots but you need a bigger kitchen table! God save the king indeed!

TangoOneThreeAlpha04 Jun 2022 2:28 a.m. PST

Well done. I think that is more men than the King ever had in his army!

Cheers Paul

If I had my time again this is the sort of project I'd embark on. I had a Hinchliffe / Essex / Redoubt army for both sides years ago, but I have to say that this force of yours is a splendid feast to behold, something I would have aspired to emulate myself. Congratulations.

Again, thank you all for your very kind words. Just finishing off my 'last' Parliamentarian RoH, then just a LTB auxiliary regiment to do (picked purely because their ensign is a little different to everything else I have – 'piles' as opposed to 'piles wavy')

Simply outstanding Mike! Beautifullly done!

Borderguy19005 Jun 2022 8:21 p.m. PST

Wow. That is amazing. That is some dedication!

KeepYourPowderDry06 Jun 2022 12:26 a.m. PST

Again, thanks for the kind words all
