Trump promised to make some particularly scary statement today to get Putin to agree to peace immediately. When will that happen? Instead, rumors are circulating that he gave Putin two months more time to kill Ukrainian civilians than his usual two weeks. |

Again… what is Europe doing? Answer: For 3 years throwing some arms the Ukraines way, some minor sanctions you chose to follow or ignore at each countries whims, complaining about evil Putin and Russia, hoping the U.S. would take over the lead, hoping the Ukrainians can kill more Russians and absorb the casualties, punishment and keep fighting, to keep the perceived monster from your doorsteps. When Trump tries to do something, you complain he is not doing enough or not doing anything. Even with Biden, you still complained we did not do enough. It is your doorstep, not ours. If it were me, I would wish him success and hope he can achieve an end to this. But then you would have to give him some credit and I'm sure you would rather slice off your right hand first. 🙄 |

🤔 NATO secretary seems happy. So maybe it's just some in MSM and on TMP unhappy… or….. is it all really just TDS? "President Donald Trump on Monday confirmed that the U.S. has agreed to sell arms to NATO just moments after he said Russian President Vladimir Putin has 50 days to secure a peace deal with Ukraine or face "100%" tariffs. NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte said Trump called him on Thursday to confirm he wanted to enter into a deal with NATO allies to sell them arms for aid to Ukraine. Trump said billions of dollars worth of U.S. arms would be purchased from allies like Germany, Finland and Denmark that will be "quickly distributed" to Ukraine. EVERYBODY' "This is really big," Rutte told reporters from the Oval Office sitting alongside Trump.
Rutte, who said the decision was built on the "tremendous success" of last month's NATO summit when nearly every nation in the alliance agreed to increase their defense spending to reach 5% of their nation's GDP, called the move "logical." "This is again European nations standing up," Rutte added. "I've been in contact with many countries, I can tell you at this moment Germany, massively, but also Finland and Denmark and Sweden and Norway, we have the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Canada – they all want to be part of this. " … "Both leaders said they thought they had secured an agreement with Putin on four different occasions, but then "bombs would be thrown out that night, and you'd say – we're not making any deals," Trump told reporters. " 🤔 Four more than Biden. "The president countered a major talking point of some isolationist Republicans who oppose the continuation of U.S. support to Ukraine. "Ultimately, having a strong Europe is a very good thing," Trump added. " |

I like this Trump better than last year's. But all Biden has to do is say he almost had a deal five times and he wins! almost had a deal four times is BS, IMO. Putin is not going to deal except on his terms and he does not care about anything Trump says or does. Selling arms to Europe to give to Ukraine? I hope it works out, but it's sounds like a drop in the bucket. The Netherlands? Not really big, not massive.but again, I give him credit for changing his mind about Ukraine and Putin. |

I'll quite happily give Trump credit when he finally gets off his arse and actually does something constructive to end the war. Having nice little chats with his pal Putin hasn't helped yet, has it? |

BTW, as a non-American, I really don't care who is in power in the States, Dems or Republicans; they're all right wing from a European point of view. A clear plan and some consistency is all we're looking for. |

Seems to me, he is the only one who HAS gotten off his arse. So again noggin what is Europes responsibility? In almost 4 years what have they done to end a war in …… Europe? Why is it the US's responsibility to end the war or support the war? |

Tort, "But all Biden has to do is say he almost had a deal five times and he wins!" Who would supply him the cue cards to read it from? 😂 |

Interestingly some are critical that the POTUS didn't wave a magic wand and end the war as her said he would on Day 1 of his Admin. happens … However, Trump thought Putin really did want peace. Putin is former KGB … he lies. "The wider the smile the bigger the knife." Putin fooled other POTUSs before. Trump and his Admin are trying hard to fix the total up. That the last POTUS[more & more it is clear he was an "empty suit"/a puppet/the emperor had no clothes nor much mental acuity], his VP, Admin, party, etc. left the US and the world a mess. They all did not know what they are were doing. And had an agenda that couldn't be farther than what most Americans really wanted. Trump got NATO on board, including two new members[albiet that was another Putin miscalculation], he did all that could be expected to try to end the war without starting a bigger one. The last POTUS/Admin did not have the right stuff. And Putin, Iran, etc. knew it. The POTUS is going to play hardball with tougher sanctions on Russia, arming NATO and NATO is going to give the Ukraine more of the firepower they need. To keep Putin and the Russians/N. Koreans, etc. in an endless loop costing them more & more losses. Literally the have only gained a few "Klicks" into Ukraine. Fighting a WWI style of attrition warfare. As their military has repeatedly demonstrated they are marginal at best. Bottom for those on a time schedule, should note history shows in war time schedules always do not work out. Events can change that … in some cases drastically … Plus whether some like it or not … the POTUS, his Admin, etc. is the world's last best hope to settle things in both Ukraine and the Mid East. Ending in a successful/positive conclusion. Also there is a civil war/insurgency going on in DC and in many US streets. Putin, Iran, etc. sees this, they think they can use this turmoil, etc. within the US to continue to play out their plans of conquest, aggression, etc. This POTUS, Admin, his Party, etc. has done more in the 1st Quarter of the Game, which is still going on. Then the last POTUS, Admin, party, etc. had done in four years. This POTUS improved the USA and parts of the world that the last one completely up. |

All I asked was, did Donald give the promised terrifying speech to the nation yet? Can we watch it? All we hear are comments about his conversations with other politicians. |
