Victrix open top vehicles (Wespe and Priest) come with holes in the bottom of the vehicle for the pegs on the crew's feet to go in. If you don't want the crew in the vehicle like me there will be 4 holes that need to be taken care of. I tried cutting a piece of thin Evergreen plastic sheet to cover the floor but I couldn't get it to fit right. What I came up with was to cut the pegs off the crew and push them in as flush as I could get them. Still looks a little off but I can live with it.

Perhaps green stuff or drywall compound or spackle would be faster. But any solution will be fiddly, given the scale.
Personally, I find crew figures on armor, especially open-topped vehicles, adds to the realism on the game board.

Or get some uber thin Evergreen plastic sheet and make a new floor. They make some almost as thin as cardstock. Cut one to fit, then make a template and cut as many as you need. or for that matter, just use cardstock.

Card stock or maybe a business card cut to size?

Superglue a piece of paper.

Tape underside to cover holes, then fill holes with plaster, smooth off after dry (then remove tape, paint, etc… ;-)

Bit puzzled why you'd want crewless vehicles

Bit puzzled why you'd want crewless vehicles

I build/paint/collect 1/144 vehicles only and don't wargame. I think over the years that I've given away some 400 or so figures that came with them. And in the case of the Victrix German infantry set I bought it for the mortars for some vehicle conversions and gave them away too. I think these are the only vehicles I have with crews, Rat Patrol. :)

Thats a good idea, with regard to filling the holes but I presume you will be populating your Priests with the correct type of crew. I will be using these for my Canadians and therefore the US Crew will be redundant and need to be replaced with British uniformed models.
