Finally got the gumption to finish the second unit of Late Roman heavy cavalry for Warmaster Ancients.
I was waiting for the decals from thebaggagetrain.com.
Sadly, the decals are too big for the Old Glory Late Roman heavy cavalry shields. No worries. Referring to the obscure Notitia Indignitatum, a now lost companian to the more famous Notitia Dignitatum, I hand painted a basic shield pattern on one unit and used some Chinese aircraft insignia for the other.
Next up – 10 units of Late Roman foot! |
