Seeking for Stats for Ships. No fleet Play! Has anyone homebrew Stats for any System? Want small Engagements.

The Wiley Games Facebook is active and responsive. Jaye is generally available to answer questions as are other gamers.

There were some attempts to come up with some simple ST ship combat systems back in the day.

Rather like the newer Cadet rules, and I think the Commander edition was simplified too.

There was also a version which looked quite good, on one of the Yahoo Groups whose name I forget, which was pretty simple. Sorry, can't recall the name, but perhaps someone here will remember.

It had basic ship templates for the usual TOS ships, as well as the green Klingon Bird of Prey, IIRC.

There were simple rules for quick play engagements.

Alas, with the last computer issue, and the demise of Yahoo Groups, I'm not sure if the rules and ship sheets are still available – they were printed in color, unlike many/most of the older ship sheets I recall, and those looked similar to the Cadet rules system from what little I know of that.

I don't recall an energy allocation system included in that, but there were four quadrants for shield facings – forward, two flanks, and the aft quarter.

I hope someone recalls that and can provide a link to the rules and ship sheets, since I'd like to give them a spin too.

Ah, finally found it.

Phaser Lock is the name.

Now to see if someone still has the ship sheets and a copy of the rules to share.

Here's a link to the previous discussion of the rules:

Smalll engagements in LotGH seems like an oxymoron. LoL.

What a shame, No one had Single Ship Stats?

Galactic Heroes is one of my top sci-fi space opera anime series of all time. I especially love Die Neue These. No Season 3 spoilers please! :-) Star Blazers (old and new) comes very close.

Mictator, did you have any specific game systems in mind? Starmada and Full Thrust are the two commonly used generic systems The old Mongoose Call to Arms system is also out there. (I assume you're not looking at using X-Wing since that is a pre-made game from Fantasy Flight.)

Below is an image of the Brunhild. I assume most TMP members aren't up on the series. It sure is not Star Trek or Star Wars! I don't know of anyone doing stats for Galactic Heroes ships.

Use these fandom Wiki's for info on Brunhild's armaments. I'm sure there are other sources as well. It shouldn't be *too* hard to come up with stats for whatever game rules you're using.

I watched this on VHS and then a bootleg Hong Kong DVD set in the '90s. It was pretty cool but I forget all the nuances. It kinda mostly reminded me of Dune most of the time, kinda dull. My favourite episode was when a boarding party took a space station using axes..

All these stats can be found in the FANKY books:
