Please come support the inaugural Richmond Open Convention, running from Friday May 27th-Sunday May 29th. We're having some glitches, as to be expected…the most glaring of which is a lack of a PEL. However, I assure you there will be plenty of historical games to play. I know one guy is bringing a cool NWF game for Saturday, there will be Black Seas demos all day Saturday, and there are several other historical games planned. There will be plenty of table space so even if you don't register a game, you can bring your stuff and set up an open game if you'd like.
Here's a link to a Facebook page dedicated to the historical gaming part of the con.

They're really making an effort to make historical gaming a major part of the show. Please come check it out, even if just for Saturday…I think you'll have a good time.

Richmond, Virginia?
Richmond, Kentucky?
I looked, but missed what state it was in. I wish them luck!

Virginia. I can't attend, but it is good to see historical events at another con. Good luck.

I can't seem to find the venue listed. I'm interested, only a couple hour drive for me.

Edit: ahh yes, I found it: Greater Richmond Convention Center. 9am to 11pm Friday thru Sunday.

It's a pity, I didn't stumble upon this earlier. I would have gone for a few days. Perhaps I still can.

Why schedule a convention over Memorial day weekend? I'd love to attend as I'm not too dar away….but Memorial Day weekend is for my family

The holiday weekend was not my choice, and I'm hoping it can be moved off that weekend in the future, but for this time around…it is what it is. It looks like we're going to have a good showing of historical gamers so we should be off to a good start!
