I guess the Russian lawmakers aren't keeping up with current events. NATO will absolutely mop the floor with what is left of the Russian military should they go after Poland.

At this rate Poland could win the War by itself without any help from Nato.

I don't think so but wait and let's see.

Russian politicians are the sick comedy gift that keeps on giving. I doubt that today's Russian military is competent enough to find Poland on a map- let alone invade it.

If on the defense, give it to Poland. On the attack not so much.

Are the Russians really putting in their A teams ?

Well besides an attack on Poland would trigger a NATO response. At this point the Russians can't overrun Ukraine. So besides they don't have the forces to attack anyone, especially NATO. I think the Russian planners are just wargaming it. Or just wishful thinking …

There was an article this morning about how the SU-34s were taping the GPS coordinates to the cockpit displays as their own navigation systems weren't functioning. I'm not sure given everything we've seen so far, how they would even hope to compete with the Polish armed forces backed by NATO.

I don't want to see anymore people getting killed anywhere, but a part of me is saying,"Go ahead, make my day". Anything to grind down the Russian war machine and finish this whole thing.

The way Poles feel about the Russians I don't think Poland would need any help from NATO.

Striker13 May 2022 9:06 p.m. PST

Considering Poland is one of the few NATO countries to actually have military equipment the Russians would have a hard time. Now if only Poland had the THAAD system that the US backed away from.

Ha, Ha, good one. Would Poland even bother to to invoke article 5?

Personally I think the Russian parliament is broken given what some of their politicians openly talk about. To what extent its just mirroring Putin's overall regime I don't know. Hopefully some actual free and fair elections with a free media might flush a lot these wingnuts out.

Moscow or Bust!

The Russian Forces' biggest threat is themselves. Their poor performance since Day 1, demonstrates that.

What nations lost territory to Russia / the Soviet Union since say 1945?

Poland.
Ukraine.
Japan.

Any others?

How about China?
Or Afghanistan?

Perhaps all those nations should consider it may be time to ask for it back.
