Some time ago I found a fantastic conversion and paintjob on the now-defunct FFG forums. It was such a cool model that eventually I tried my hand at a a similar conversion.

Nice stuff. Back as a player in my first ever Traveller campaign, my character owned and flew a 100 ton Free Trader named the Wyvern. Naturally, I worked up a hull plan, and, being 15, it became a copy of the Millennium Falcon, but with the central cockpit protruding from the front of the "gap" area. Of course, I thought it was startlingly original, because 15. laugh

So my remaining internal teen self says thumbs up

Thanks John, blackjack and Parv!

same, Parvizal. Every freighter/smuggler/free trader i ever sketched somehow became the Flacon. 15 was a grand age!

For folks who are into X Wing, found this link to an archive of the defunct FFG forums.

Had a quick look, and there are pics of original X Wing miniatures and mods, among other subjects.
