Ukraine says its forces have recaptured villages from Russian troops north and north-east of Kharkiv, pushing them back towards the border. IMO there will be more of this the longer the Russians are in the Ukraine. As their losses increase, and morale go down more & more. |

My thought is that as it appears the war is about to change to put Putin at the disadvantage he will ask for a cease-fire to save civilian suffering. He will then hold a referendum and 95% of the voters in occupied territory will vote to become part of Russia. He will then rebuild his army so he can start again in 5 or 10 years.
