"Opinions & Reviews on the Lunar Minis Game?" Topic

I've seen an on-line review of the game components and minis, and even a Youtube game playthru, but would like to know what people think of the miniatures game, Lunar?

I'm primarily interested in opinions on the rules, playability, and overall fun of the game, as well as replayability.

Not sure I'm sold on many guys not being armed with firearms, though I suppose within the areas of living habitats I suspect you can make an argument for that, since you don't want to destroy your only life supporting sanctuary.

I'm interested in thoughts on that too.

First I have heard of it. Looks pretty darn cool. I wonder if that Markam S11 is supposed to be a Gyrojet weapon. If I could get the rules and cards as PDFs I would buy them and run this in 54mm as all the needed materials are readily available. You could even print their STLs in 54mm.

I wish they had the rules sold separately so you can use your own minis.

I asked them if they would sell the PDFs of the rules and cards (they already have a rules pdf). They don't plan on it.

Looks interesting, but since I already have 15mm Lunar stuff, I would just be interested in the rules also.

They do sell the hard copy rules separately and it comes with a pdf, but it sounds like they are waiting to reprint? Email them and ask!

Knew nothing about this. Then saw a post and now I am going Hmmm? This could be fun.
