Anyone know what happened to this model? I grabbed whatever I could find of the GF9 Aliens stuff when it came out, just because I figured it wouldn't last, so really just getting started with it – haven't cracked the boxes yet. But what Aliens force could be complete without their APC and their drop ship? It's like Gale Force 9 made the APC model for about 10 seconds for their 28mm "Another Glorious Day in the Corps" boardgame. Why it wasn't put into major production, I have no idea, but they sold out in .6024 days, it seems. Is there a story behind this? There are some 3D printed options that claim 28mm, but I'm leery of their work without some recommendations from people who have the model on hand. After all – anyone's brother / friend / cousin can write a rave review on ETSY [and lots of other places]. This one looks promising: link Anyway, what is out there these days in 28mm? I have the "Another Glorious Day in the Corps" miniatures out the yazoo, and I'm looking to get their transportation worked out. Thanks! |

Can't say, but I do believe the license has expired. I could use some more aliens, but not sure if those are available either. Seems like the demand was underestimated by the company, and that production didn't meet it. |
