So, supposedly, Gale Force 9 made this model for about 10 seconds for their 28mm "Another Glorious Day in the Corps" boardgame. Why it wasn't put into major production, I have no idea, but they sold out in .6024 days, it seems.

There are some 3D printed options that claim 28mm, but I'm leery of their work without some recommendations from people who have the model on hand. After all – anyone's brother / friend / cousin can write a rave review on ETSY [and lots of other places].

Anyway, what is out there these days in 28mm? I have the "Another Glorious Day in the Corps" miniatures out the yazoo, and I'm looking to get their transportation worked out.

Thanks!

You didn't say what scale you were after, but there is this one from Khurasan.

It's a bit large. And at $60 USD, it seems a bit pricy. That may be because of the size.

If you have a 3d printer or a friend with one there are numerous stl files available for download. One site offers a printed version that is slightly longer than Khurasan's for $45. USD

There have been several made as mass-market toys.

Two (one damaged, one undamaged) for "Minimates" iirc, one of them was an exclusive for Target.

One of these is included in the scale compariosn pics in thsi blog post:

There was also (iirc) one from Lanard that was sold at WalMart.

Thanks Joedog, those are great leads.

I found this one at Etsy, and am sorta leaning to it:

someone sent me some pics of theirs, and it turned out quite well.

Hey Star Blazer,
what do you mean by "although 3D, especially SLA, can do so much better"? What is SLA?

Should I be looking for a different print person?

Thanks!
