A Ukrainian politician from a pro-Russian party continues to spread insinuations against Poland, while attacking president V. Zelensky. Ilya Kiva accuses Kiev and Warsaw of preparing for the annexation of western Ukraine by Poland. Kiva formulated his accusations in Telegram. He accused the authorities in Kiev of preparing for the creation of a new Ukrainian state with its capital in Lviv and then preparing a referendum to incorporate it into Poland… Poland: link |

Not the first time, the news media is wrong. Or don't know what they are talking about. "Never let the truth get in the way of a good story." … Sound Like FOX news Won't get into an argument over which news channel is "better", etc. … But I saw "The View" is up for 9 Awards. 😱 That just shows what some people think is "news". 🤯🤯 Terrifying … IMO …😨 |

Why are people attacking the media? Euronews is reporting that these SOCIAL MEDIA stories are FALSE and that the supposed BBC video is a fake. Meanwhile, the reports that Kiva is saying these things appear perfectly accurate. That doesn't mean that Kiva is right. |

Why are people attacking the media? Because many/most have been shown to be nothing more than propaganda outlets for their political allies, pushing false narratives for their causes, and NOT reporting real news and scandals far greater than those of Watergate, which looks like a 10 year old's minor misdemeanor by comparison. The resulting partisan coverage and non-reporting helped swing the balance in the last election. |

So, it makes sense to attack "the media" for accurately reporting a story? Go back and read the responses. They literally don't make sense. |

Well, it seems in many cases the media is biased, tries to make the "story" to fit their agenda, narrative, etc. Plus, we can't take opinion vs. actual news in many situations, as well. |

"Well, it seems in many cases the media is biased, tries to make the "story" to fit their agenda, narrative, etc. Plus, we can't take opinion vs. actual news in many situations, as well." No this is wrong, most News-Media, sure lean in varying degrees. But right or left news media will not change the facts themselves and even the ones that do tend to do it in the opinion or commentary areas. Yes some of the News media that gets posted here, does tend to be in that small group that likes play with facts but saying all is fairly simple minded. |

Yes, different media leans one way or another. However, I've seen them play with facts, only say what fits their narrative, etc. E.g. in the summer of 2020 where over 500 riots occurred in the USA. Some media said most of the protests are peaceful. Yet the scene behind them was a raging inferno, LEO cars destroyed, city blocks looted & burning, etc., etc. Or some of our gov't leaders calling these riots "A myth", etc., etc., … Opinion is one thing … but blatantly dismissing what we all seen … and call it something else. How stupid do they think we are ? link link Albeit we have gone waaay OT …

Sweeping generalizations rarely get us anywhere. But it does serve a narrative. |
