Which are the nicest or most iconic poses available in wargaming scales? Are there artistic versions of either man during a battle/campaign which would be better for a miniature than what is available? |

Well's there's the famous one of Napoleon crossing the St Bernard pass by David – Foundry has one as a special edition but I don't think it is available anymore link |

Interesting kickstarter. It's odd that they made Murat smaller than Napoleon. |

Most Wellington miniatures show him the Waterloo getup- plain blue coat, unadorned cocked hat, etc- but Brickdust has one of him in full field marshal's uniform, which I particularly like: link I usually only use Brickdust for logistical figures and the like (although I have a regiment of the Vistula Legion lancers that looks good), but I mounted this one with a generic Brickdust British general (silver lace, representing Murray as a QMG) and a Minifigs British infantry colonel painted with the white facings of the 43rd, to represent the future Lord Raglan. It looks as if they are assembled for a review of my post-Vitoria Peninsular Army. Standard 3 figure base for an Army commander for Empire. Pour l'Empereur, something special is needed, and Old Glory 15s furnished it. They give you the figure of the seated Napoleon from Vasili Vereshchagin's great painting of Borodino, and enough of the supporting figures that you can make a small scene that calls this painting to mind: link |

Warlord Games have a delightful figure of the Duke preparing himself to meet General Bonaparte. |
