"Disney Plus has, meanwhile, released a new trailer and poster for Ewan McGregor's OBI-WAN KENOBI sf series which hits the streamer May 27th with six episodes. The story in the series begins 10 years after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat — the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader. With Ewan McGregor reprising his role as the Jedi Master, Hayden Christensen returns in the role of Darth Vader. Joel Edgerton and Rupert Friend are also in the cast."

D+ is hemorrhaging subscribers. I don't know if even this will be enough to keep them afloat for long. On the plus side, it would be nice to have some stories to fill in the gaps in the timeline. But I'm not expecting them to be good stories. |

Just a warning – there was serious retconning of the storyline to get the time right – a lot of it apparently is pretty jarring. Disney is slowing killing Star Wars. Kennedy is still there and as long as she is, the universe will never be safe. |
