Ok just looked through my book: World Army Uniforms since 1939 by Mollo, McGregor, Smith & Chappell. I did not see those specific plates in this book. They look very similar but not the same. |

From the captions and some image searching, I would guess the first is from Osprey's The British Army 1939–45 (3) THE FAR EAST MEN-AT-ARMS 375 link and the second from Osprey's The British Army 1939–45 (2) MIDDLE EAST & MEDITERRANEAN MEN-AT-ARMS 368 link |

So the credit should go to Mike Chappell as the artist who created these images? That is the problem with Pinterest. Reproducing copyrighted images, with no attributions whatsoever. |
