Please see link for a short battle report of the battle of Quilmes in one of Britain's ill-starred interventions in the Spanish colonies at the beginning of the Napoleonic Wars, using Baccus 6mm figures and the Polemos: General de Division rules.

Pretty cool John, a neat little scenario, and I certainly wasn't familiar with the subject matter, so happy to learn a bit, too, on top of the entertaining fight. And three cheers to the Marines, of course, through whom all victories are possible ;)

Jack

Thanks Jack! I need to get round to doing some proper British Marines for the Napoleonic period rather than just using a generic 'Royal' regiment. I do have some figures that do nicely for US Marines for 1812 though…

You bet! And regardless of uniform, they sure fought like Marines ;)

War of 1812, eh? There's something you don't often see gamed.

V/R,
Jack
