Does anyone make a line of "unconventional" american civil war era miniatures for conflicts like bleeding Kansas in 15mm? Guys in civilian clothes with random weapons. In particular I'd like cavalry in particular. Sorry I meant unconventional in the title. Thanks in advance. |

Peter Pig has Confederate cavalry with shotguns as well as the ones with rifles; with some creative painting that would I think work |

I agree with the others. Also, look at the PP Western packs to get some variety for your irregulars. In this scale, most conversions are done with paint. If you want to jump up to 25mm, Foundry has a dedicated range. |

QRF do some ACW irregular cavalry in their 15mm ACW range including a pack of Missouri guerrillas. The Terry's Texas rangers might do as well.

link All of the Friekorps 15mm packs are currently listed as out of stock but this is apparently because QRF are moving premises so they aren't taking orders right now. The move was supposed to be completed by the end of April but it might not have been finished yet. If you are interested in the figures then you could email QRF and find out what the situation is.
Friekorps 15 figures are smallish and compatible with Peter Pig but still much bigger than the Warlord Epic ACW figs. |

Check out the Mounted Texas Rangers in OG/Blue Moon Miniatures Mexican-American War range. Looks like a good fit for irregular Southern cavalry in the western theater of ACW. |
